Our Virtual Literacy & Numeracy Week 2020 kicks off today with the theme: βLiteracy & Numeracy teaching and learning in the COVID-19 crisis and beyondβ.
This year, we mark this event from 29th August to 4th September. We also have the Adult Learners Week coinciding with Literacy & Numeracy Week from this Tuesday as we launch activities for our parents as well. Stay tuned on this space tomorrow!
Please note that all these will culminate with the INTERNATIONAL LITERACY DAY next week TUESDAY, 8 SEPTEMBER. On that day, we will announce all the winners of our various competitions as well.
Teachers have been busy in the weekend planning for this weekβs special virtual events and contests for our students on ZOOM, GOOGLE CLASSROOM and SHOWBIE platforms.
Senior students from Years 10 β 12 will have their contests posted on Student Welfare Google Classroom while Years 7 β 9 will have their contests announced to them by Homegroup, English and Maths teachers. There are plenty of daily prizes and awards at stake.
We look forward to a virtually eventful week and we shall capture all highlights and post them on our website gallery later this week.
We are all in this together.
Stay safe and have a nice week immersed in fun and learning in the name of literacy and numeracy.
