Representing Â鶹´«Ã½, our Sustainability Coordinator Ms Tanja and her daughters joined thousands of students across Australia who walked out of classrooms today to take part in the first School Strike 4 Climate (#ss4c) rally since COVID and lockdowns hit us last year.
The school strike was organised and run by Primary and Secondary School students which was very inspiring and impressive to see. They led the way in calling for climate justice, investment in renewable energy, clean safe jobs and First Nations led solutions.
Thank you to our Year 3 students and Ms Stamatia who had produced the beautiful art works used on Ms Tanja’s placard. We would like to encourage our student and school community to join the next major SS4C later on this year and have ASC represented with a large contingent.
