**We are thrilled to share the exciting news from the Bachar Houli Year 5 & 6 Islamic Schools Soccer Tournament held on 1 May 2024, at John Cain Memorial Park. Our ASC team showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, leaving a lasting impression on all who witnessed their remarkable performance.
The tournament featured an intense 11-a-side format, with teams from various Islamic schools competing for glory on the field. Our journey began with a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Al Taqwa, setting the stage for an exhilarating series of matches.
Undeterred by the early challenge, our players displayed determination and skill, securing victories in subsequent matches. With impressive 1-0 wins against AIA CSC and AIA, as well as a commanding 4-0 triumph over Sidrah Gardens, our team demonstrated their prowess and resilience.
In a testament to their consistency and teamwork, Â鶹´«Ã½ College remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, conceding only one goal in five matches. The blend of Year 5 and Year 6 players showcased the depth of talent and the promising future of soccer at our school.
The final group stage match against Ilm College ended in a thrilling 1-1 draw, securing our position at the top of the table with an impressive 11 points. As a result, our team has earned a well-deserved spot in the Grand Finals, with details to be announced soon.
