The Arabic Secondary team were delighted to take our Year 7 classes on excursions to Melbourne Airport, aligning with this term鈥檚 theme "At the Airport."
The excursions offered students a real-world experience of airport operations and the excitement of air travel without leaving the ground and gave some insight to the travel experience as well as consolidated the class unit of 鈥淎t the Airport鈥.
The tour was designed to provide Year 7 students with an authentic passenger experience, concentrating on the domestic terminals at Melbourne Airport.
The journey commenced in the Domestic Departures area. Students got an exclusive walkthrough of the airport security process, after which they headed to Gates 1-10 where they engaged in plane spotting, with a spectacular view of the bustling north-south聽runway.
