Year 12 graduate students farewelled

Our Year 12 student cohort celebrated their last official day at school with a farewell assembly on last Friday, 22 October 2021.

Our Year graduates had an opportunity to reflect on their experiences at the College with their peers and coordinators. Teachers and students shared their experiences, words of advice, laughter and some tears in farewell speeches. Jackets were being signed and graduation cookies and personalised awards and certificates handed out before the final assembly concluded with the cutting of the traditional farewell cake and group photos being taken.

We would like to wish our Year 11 and 12 students all the very best and much success for their upcoming VCE exams, commencing from this Wednesday, 27 October. It is hard to put into words how much we appreciate you and all the hard work and resilience you have shown during two years of lockdowns with remote learning.

    Vis Naidu is the Head of Secondary School at the Â鶹´«Ã½ College in Epping, Victoria. He was born and educated in South Africa with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Diploma in Teaching and an Honours Degree in Psychology.

    He started his teaching in 1986 and was actively involved in the transformation of the political landscape in South Africa in1994. After teaching for 18 years in South Africa, he decided it was time for a change and moved to Melbourne, Australia in 2004.

    Vis has also taught in London, gaining valuable knowledge and experience as a secondary teacher (GCSE) of English. In Australia, he took up a position at a Catholic College in Kilmore, Victoria, teaching VCE Psychology and English. He joined Â鶹´«Ã½ at the beginning of 2012 with the aim of helping to build the College into a reputable institute of learning.
